TAS DesignBuild’s DIA defines “close by”. A quick walk away you’ll find the offices and services of the North York Civic Centre. Around you, and within short travelling distance, there’s a fine selection of colleges, schools and nurseries, including Toronto’s Earl Haig High School and the Claude Watson School for the Arts. A vital commercial centre, North York also provides a full range of employment opportunities for all levels plus easy access to commercial centres elsewhere — Markham to the north and downtown Toronto to the south.

Get Going!

When it comes to transit, North York is on the fast track — with several points of TTC access nearby TAS DesignBuild’s DIA — Finch subway station to the north and North York Center subway station to the south. Thanks to the fast and efficient new Sheppard subway, within minutes you can find yourself heading all the way east to Fairview Mall.

For urban areas to the north, opt for the YRT (York Region Transit). If Toronto Union Station or Toronto Pearson International Airport is your destination, sit back — within 30 minutes you’ll be there. Got to Go? The Go bus is right there at Finch subway station — ready to take you north, south, east or west. Ready for a road trip or a quick commute? Go south on Yonge Street and you’ll find yourself at the access of Highway 401. Other major roads include: Yonge Street, Sheppard Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Finch Avenue, Steeles Avenue — providing you with quick and easy access to the rest of the GTA.
